The aging of various car parts is unavoidable.

Brake dust stuck to the inside of aluminum wheels cannot be easily removed, but by using ○○○○○ that can be easily purchased at drug stores, you can clean them to the condition shown on the right side without damaging the wheel paint.
When the inside of the wheel visible through the spoke gaps is clean, the entire wheel should look clean, but…
Unfortunately, the aluminum wheel center caps of Subarus from this era suffer from significant paint deterioration, with brownish discolored base material appearing on the surface, making the whole thing look old.
Since the center caps can be easily removed from the wheels, let’s repaint them.
This MADE IN USA DeVilbiss LPHV gun that I received from a panel beater is vintage, but unlike spray cans, it produces a very delicate and soft mist, allowing for beautiful painting with minimal practice.
This is what the paint application looks like after applying primer and preparing the surface. You can see how the gentle paint mist has been applied thinly and evenly.
The silver color is roughly mixed. Since center caps don’t easily show visual discrepancies in color matching, I kept it moderate.
