There was a reason why I maintain the Alfa romeo in the hottest season.
I took The 916 Alpha GTV by replacing the spark plug and the ignition coil just before 100,000 kilometers.
MY2001 GF-916C1 V6 3.0L 6MT mileage 95,000km.
Heat from the V6 3.0 unit packed into the engine room degrades each part.
To approach the three ignition devices in the rear bank of the V6 engine, I have to remove the surge tank and the hoses and clips connected to it.
Unlike when parts were supplied sufficiently, Alfa GTV became difficult to obtain genuine parts one after another after 10 years of production. Therefore, it is not possible to damage even one rubber hose and one clip carefully.
Even degraded parts that would break during the cold season were able to complete the work without breaking any parts with the flexibility necessary in the extreme heat like this year.
With an expensive ignition coil that does many times the number of japanese cars and a long life plug of alfaromeo genuine NGK, the engine blowing up and the roar that the owner felt a little uncomfortable seems to have become quite satisfactory.
Imported cars such as Alfa Romeo used in Japan at high temperature and high humidity are intensely. One of the Reasons is that the imported cars have a relatively large displacement engine built in their home countries.
Imperity italian made cars sudden stop supplying genuine parts after 10 years or more from manufacturing.
I replaced the parts of the ignition system at customer's request. The reason Why I worked in the hottest season is to safely removed parts that are likely to breakage.
When the temperature is high, moderate flexibilitys in parts that have deteriorated, and it is possible to avoid breakage of parts with high probability.
