How to paint rusty wiper blades

7/23/2019 By ITS Leave a Comment

The exterior of the car to be worried about due to aging.

The yellowing of the headlights is cleaned so that it is mistaken when polished with a compound with excellent cutting power or by applying steam from an organic solvent such as a headlight steamer to dissolve the surface (both methods are subjected to the finish of the process by scraping the yellowlayer).

"Reference article"I tried to clean the yellow headlights as much as possible.I tried to clean the yellow headlights as much as possible (Part 2)

It is the orange and rust of the wiper blade that is often consulted following the deterioration of the headlight.

If you are exposed to an outdoor environment and float to red rust like this, the whole car will look old.

If the new supply is cheap, replacement is the best. However, if the new product is expensive or the supply is finished, a beautiful repair technology is required.

I painted the surface with HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray gun for painting and made it less noticeable. The spray gun Used was Made in USA's DevilVis.With low pressure air, it can be applied gently and uniformly, so the paint used is very small.

Both spray guns and paints were not used for a long time.

Even if the paint is solved with a solvent, it becomes "dama", so it is filtered with high-performance filter paper (Yoshino paper).

Because the wiper blade is a matte finish, the flat base is added an appropriate amount and the gloss adjustment is made.

Before spraying paint, it is important to process rust removal and other processing.

Rather than spraying them at once, we divided them several times to adjust the air pressure, pattern width, and distance to the target, aiming for a uniform surface.
